Herff Jones Senior Orders - Deadline to Order is Dec. 1!
The only required items for seniors are the gown, cap, tassel, and collar. This package is currently priced at $64.
Seniors can order online anytime or in person when Herff Jones is here on Thursday, October 30, during HS lunch.
Attendance Awareness Month
Although Attendance Awareness Month has ended, please keep good attendance habits in mind! We are so proud that our attendance rate improved last year in both middle school and high school. To continue improving our attendance rates, however, we need everyone’s help.
Please try and schedule non-emergency appointments after school hours whenever possible
Remember to send in doctor & parent excuse notes Improving attendance is a schoolwide initiative. We appreciate your support of your child and of this school initiative!

PMHS & PES Staff, including our Family Engagement Specialist, will be set up in front of PMHS to: ● provide information on how to get a Campus Parent Portal account ● reset passwords for existing Campus Parent Portal accounts ● troubleshoot any issues you may be having with your Campus Portal account ● answer attendance-related questions, etc.

Winter Sports Pictures
Winter sports pictures will be taken Wednesday, November 12, beginning at 1:00 p.m. Pictures are prepaid only. The photographer will take a team picture of each sport, a senior group picture for each high school sport, and individual pictures of those purchasing packages.

PMHS Cross Country
Congratulations to our XC teams and their coaches for an awesome showing at the XC region championship! The girls’ XC team held off Metter to win their 3rd straight Region Championship! The runners on the boys’ XC team all earned Personal Records (PR) and secured Region Runner-Up! The GHSA State Meet is in Carrollton this Saturday morning. We wish our Panthers the best of luck! Go Panthers!
November is “Apply to College” Month
November has been declared "Apply to College" month in the state of Georgia. College application fees have been waived for most colleges and universities in Georgia. Seniors can apply to most colleges and universities for free during the month of November. Take advantage of this money-saving opportunity!
PROBE College Fair for Seniors
The PROBE College Fair will be held at Georgia Southern University's Recreation Activity Center on Tuesday, November 11, from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.
Fifty or more Georgia colleges and universities will be in attendance to provide information about their schools. This is a great opportunity to explore different colleges.
We will provide bus transportation to the event for students who need transportation. Students needing transportation must pick up a field trip permission form from the front office and return it by no later than Thursday, November 6.
Students who have transportation may attend the event on their own. All students who plan to attend, however, need to complete the Google Form sign-up or scan the QR code on the flyer that is located on their grade level bulletin board. Students who sign up will be excused from classes.

● 7:30 a.m.- Earliest students may be dropped off at school
○ Please use the car rider drive to drop students off, not the front drive.
● 7:50 a.m.- Tardy bell rings
○ Students should be in their classrooms by 7:50 a.m., so they need to
arrive at school earlier than 7:50 a.m.
● 3:00 p.m.- Student Dismissal
