State End-of-Course Testing for High School Begins this Week!
If your child is taking American Literature this semester (typically taken by 11th graders,) he/she will be testing this Wednesday-Friday. Please encourage your child to do his/her very BEST on this VERY IMPORTANT test!
*U.S. History & Biology EOCs will take place next week on Monday & Tuesday.

The 12 Days of December attendance campaign is to help encourage & recognize good attendance in the days leading up to high school semester exams. See the attached flyer for all of the details.
Every day of school is an important opportunity for students to learn as well as connect to peers and their teachers!

Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) is Now Available!
The Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available for students and parents to apply for the 2025 - 2026 school year. Any student, regardless of income,who wants to be considered for federal, state, and school financial aid programs can apply. This includes grants, scholarships, work-study funds, and loans. Financial aid is financial assistance that helps cover costs of college expenses such as tuition, books, fees, etc. For more information about FAFSA, seniors can see their Google Classroom. Mrs. Andrea Grant, our high school counselor, has included a video about FAFSA as well as a link to the Federal Student Aid website.
School Yearbooks on Sale Now!
The cost of a yearbook is $60. The price will increase to $70 on January 31, 2025.

BETA Holiday Community Toy Drive
Our high school BETA Club is holding a toy drive. They are asking for new toys to be donated to give out to children in our community. Toys should cost no more than $20. Please leave the toys unwrapped. Donations are due by this Friday, December 13. They can be dropped off at the Main Office or Senor Hattaway’s classroom.
MS & Varsity Soccer Preconditioning Begins!
Athletic physicals must be complete & Dragonfly accounts must be updated before students can participate. Varsity began conditioning last week. MS will start this Thursday, December 12. Evaluations & tryouts will be in mid-January for all.

● 7:30 a.m.- Earliest students may be dropped off at school
○ Please use the car rider drive to drop students off, not the front drive.
● 7:50 a.m.- Tardy bell rings
○ Students should be in their classrooms by 7:50 a.m., so they need to
arrive at school earlier than 7:50 a.m.
● 3:00 p.m.- Student Dismissal
