    Report COVID-19 absences

    Report a COVID-19-related absences online with any digital device. You no longer need to call your school. 

     

    When should I submit a COVID-19 absence report?

    • The student or employee has tested positive for COVID.
    • The student or employee has COVID symptoms and has either not been tested or is awaiting test results.
    • The student or employee has been a close contact within the last 10 days to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, and as a result will quarantine five to ten days.

    Note:

    • If you have been a close contact within the last 10 days to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, visit the Georgia Department of Public Health Quarantine Guidance. to determine if quarantine is recommended or required. This will depend on if you are up-to-date with vaccination.
    • If you are unable to report your absence online, which is preferred, you may contact your school.

    COVID-19 Weekly Reports

    Bulloch County Schools will provide a weekly report of confirmed-positive cases of COVID-19 and close contacts identified through evidence-based protocols. School nurses will provide a weekly report to the Georgia Department Public Health, and the school district will provide that same data to the public on this website. Reporting resumed on August 1, in prepartation for the school district's first day of school, which was August. 2, 2021.

    Order Free Meals Online

    Order free weekly meals for virtual students. Free breakfast and lunch meals are available to children who are enrolled in the Bulloch County Virtual Learning Program and children who are isolated or quarantined at home temporarily due to COVID-19.

     

    Complete this online order form  to order your week's supply of meals for pick up each Monday.

     

    Please order by each Thursday at 8 p.m. for your following week's supply of meals.

     

    Pick up is each Monday morning from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., at the elementary school for your school zone.  Please note that middle and high schools are not pick up sites.  You will pick up food for your middle or high school student at the elementary school  your home is zoned for that links to your middle and high school.

    Slow the Spread of Infectious Illness in Schools

    This is Bulloch County Schools’ Return-to-School Plan for 2021-2022 in regards to the mitigation of any infectious illness. Please review the plan's information. It is updated regularly as guidance changes. Also use our Daily Health Guide for Employees & Students to know when to isolate or quarantine.

    For COVID-19, the State of Georgia is not currently under a state of emergency for public health. To help further mitigate the spread of COVID-19, Bulloch County Schools will implement our Return-to-School Plan, and implement the Georgia Department of Public Health's requirements to the best of our reasonable ability, while we also balance the overall safety and academic and social-emotional wellbeing of our students.

     

    The Daily Health Guide for Employees and Students is helpful to recognize symptoms of a possible illness, and to know when to isolate or quarantine.
