Congratulations to the Portal High School Drama Class as they attended a One-Act Play competition Saturday April 8th at Armstrong State University and WON FIRST PLACE OVERALL! Patrick Easley won first place for best actor and they also won first place for Technical Direction. They performed “This is a Test” by Stephen Gregg and will share the comedy with PMHS students, faculty & staff this Friday.
The competition was against 10 other schools from the Savannah area including Richmond Hill and Savannah Arts Academy. Directed by Deena Scarborough, the students were applauded by all three judges for their unity, timing and ability to work as a team. The three trophies are displayed on their stage… please congratulate the following students: Holden Bragg, Kelsey Bragg, Aaronn Brown, Leah Davis, Kensley Deal, Patrick Easley, Claudasia Mosely, Kimball Shaw, James Spangler.
Be a Bulloch County high school senior accepted to any accredited technical, 2 year, 4 year or junior college/university
Have a cumulative minimum unweighted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Participated in athletic sports during high school in any capacity (videographer, manager or player)
Demonstrate a sense of community through volunteer and community service activities
A one-time $1000 scholarship will be awarded. The scholarship money will be sent directly to the institution of choice as soon as the recipient provides proof of enrollment.

Our goal is to hopefully help future students make changes and innovations in the green home improvement industry. This scholarship intends to serves as the first step towards those changes.
HomeAdvisor is challenging students to break new ground in green home improvement by offering a scholarship every year to one student. High school seniors accepted to a college or trade school or any student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at any accredited college, university or trade school in the United States are qualified to apply by submitting a 1,000 to 2,000 word essay.
